About Serengeti
The Serengeti is the Mara's southern continuation and many times its size. The Central Serengeti, around Seronera, is where the resident big cats are and where game viewing is reliable in any month. The Northern Serengeti, near the Mara River, is where the migration crosses between roughly July and October.
We reach it by road from the Masai Mara through the Isebania border, which is the most direct way to see both halves of the ecosystem in one trip. Our ten-day route adds the north; the seven- and eight-day routes stay central.
